Passengers on a train in India reportedly pulled the emergency chain after detecting smoke.

Passengers on the Dibrugarh-Kanyakumari Vivek Express train were gripped by panic after smoke was detected in the train near Brahmapur railway station.

On July 7, barely a week ago, three coaches of Falaknuma Express caught fire while the train was crossing Yadadri district of Telangana.

The Howrah-Secunderabad Express was stopped near Bommaialli village and the passengers had a narrow escape as they left the compartments (S3, S4, and S5) before the fire spread.

The crane accident resulted in no fatalities.
